The Peerbridge CorTM was evaluated at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, alongside the traditional gold stndard electrocardiogram (ECG) technology, the holter.
14 patients with atrial fibrillation and other arrythmias participated in the trial, which evaluated the feasability of caputring multi-channel, diagnostic grade ECG using the Peerbridge system and Peerbridge Cor’sTM performance and efficacy.
Peerbridge CorTM proved to be superior to the current holter monitor standard.
Test process and result:
- Patient data was collected via the gold standard Holter and Peerbridge CorTM and
processed using and FDA-cleared arrythmia algorithm - Electrocardiogram (ECG) data generated by both devices was assessed, using 1400
datasets from each of them (2,800 in total). Datasets were randomly selected but
time-matched between the devices to make sure like-for-like data was being compared. - ECG data was then randomized and presented to two Certfied Cardiographic
Technicians (CCT) who were blinded to the device that captures the data. - The data was scored using a 5-point scale which evaluated clarity and interpretability
compared to the gold satndard holter
